[1] As a researcher, I have had to apply for postdoctoral positions, fellowships, grants, and other opportunities. I realized that keeping track of deadlines, customized CVs, research statements, cover letters, notes, follow-ups, and reminders can quickly become messy. To make this process easier, I built an Application Tracker.
The tool organizes multiple applications in one place and keeps track of deadlines, application status, notes, documents, follow-ups, and reminders. It is useful for academic applications, postdoctoral positions, fellowships, internships, grants, and job applications.
The app also includes AI assistance. Users can connect it to an LLM provider of their choice and use it for tasks such as summarizing job requirements, drafting follow-up emails, or asking questions based on their application data and CV.
The project is open source, and contributions, suggestions, and feedback are welcome.
